Richard DAFOE 1635 - 1665
Richard DAFOE was known as a "lovable rogue".
Born in London, he was destined to continue in the family business until it hit hard times and he was sent to sea with a family friend at the age of 14.
DAFOE was soon lured into piracy and was a very successful one until he fell foul of a rival and was killed at the age of 30.
